Oversaw communications and served as corporate spokesperson for this Detroit-based urban gaming and entertainment company with six locations in four states. During my time there, JACK Entertainment was one of the largest in the Rock Ventures Family of Companies, which included Rocket Mortgage (formerly Quicken Loans), Bedrock Detroit and the Cleveland Cavaliers, owned by entrepreneur and philanthropist Dan Gilbert. The company was focused on the development and operation of gaming facilities designed to maximize connectivity and economic impact in the local areas where they reside. It employed about 7,000 team members and generated $1.4 billion in revenue.

Recruited to open and lead Edelman's Detroit office. Worked with Edelman offices around the world that had an interest in the Detroit market with a focus on manufacturing, technology, health care and automotive. Edelman is the world’s largest public relations firm, with more than 5,500 employees in 65 cities around the world, as well as affiliates in more than 40 cities. Directed operations of the Detroit office and supported business growth throughout the US. Led the firm's automotive practice, overseeing strategic planning and team execution of activities for clients in automotive, manufacturing and healthcare. Clients included: R.L. Polk, RECARO Automotive, Continental Automotive, IAC Group, Growth Energy and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.

Led the entire range of earned media storytelling for Microsoft Corporation and its partner companies. Developed strategies and directed activation of public relations programs – including Microsoft product, issues and solution-centric campaigns – across the United States. Campaigns included the launch of Windows 7, Halo 3, Microsoft mobile devices and Ford Sync by Microsoft.

Oversaw public relations for this Boston-based advertising agency's Detroit office and its work for General Motors. Responsible for General Motors Advanced Technologies, including promotion of E85 vehicles, hydrogen buses, fuel cell technologies and the 2007 launch of the Chevrolet Volt concept vehicle at the North American International Auto Show. Also supported GMAC and GE Automotive.

Partnered with companies seeking to strengthen their brand, manage their reputation and increase visibility for products and services. Clients included: St. John Health, Starbucks and Phoenix Innovate.

Directed worldwide communications, including brand positioning, reputation management, corporate communications, advertising, product promotion, media relations, crisis communications and community relations for the world's third largest manufacturer of float and fabricated glass products. Served as a change agent helping to re-position the company from old world manufacturer to technology leader. Developed a successful re-branding program, launched the company's first corporate advertising campaign, and oversaw events in countries around the world, including England, Poland, Germany, Brazil, Mexico and the United States.

Developed corporate policies, marketing programs and growth strategies; oversaw the firm's account staff; and directed client activity. Was instrumental in growing the firm more than 200 percent in three years. Directed the award-winning grand opening of Taubman's Great Lakes Crossing, and the award-winning launch of Sprint's Wireless Web.
