Event Manager
CurrentOrganize weekly Front of the House catering logistics in accordance with Trumpet Vine standards. Rental orders, Tastings, Deliveries, Décor and signage, Special requests, Venue Layouts, Timelines, Site checks, Payments, Post event follow up.Provide professional, concise, timely and pleasant communication with support staff, vendors, sales leads, and clients.Complete detailed worksheets for each event based on menu needs and Client/Vendor communication.Ensure set-up, execution and breakdown of event is in accordance with venue, client and Trumpet Vine contract terms.Manage front of the house inventory needs. Provide décor and design set-up as needed.Supervise administrative assistant and off site event staff in task assignment and time management.Document all work related injuries and illnesses within 24-hours of incident and submit to Human Resource Manager.Attend weekly managements meetings to plan for weekly events.Prepare detailed event logistics spreadsheets for other Event Managers.Maintain Calendar and provide updated calendars to key managers at the beginning of each month.Complete new employee performance reviews following each event and submit to Human Resources Manager.Provide additional administrative support to Owner as needed.Sales DutiesFirst point of contact for all potential clients.Conduct sales consultations and/or tasting appointments with emphasis on company core values, opportunities for up sell, and explanation of services.Create detailed menu proposals.Contribute to menu/ design concepts and organizational/management productivity.Attend networking events.
