Designing and developing software applications that increase the efficiency and capacity of power plants.

Spent two years on an intensive, GE company wide Engineering Development program. Assignments were as follows:1 - Wind Turbine Controls: Developed control algorithms to enable efficient wind turbine operation. This work resulted in one issued patent (US20190145381A1).2 - Outage Engineering: Developed hardware and software tools to reduce gas turbine outage times.3 - Gas Engine Controls/Software: Designed and built a system for remote update of gas engine controllers.4 - Power plant optimization: Wrote software to improve efficiency and capacity of power plants.

-Guided students toward mastery of Embedded Systems by tutoring and helping them with their lab assignments from their Embedded Systems course.-Taught students how to mine information from micro-controller datasheets to build robust embedded systems.-Graded homework assignments and provided constructive feedback to students.

• Designed user interfaces to display data received from an engine controller and to calibrate engines• Wrote VBA code to automate Excel tasks, thus saving the company over $20,000 a year.• Performed Hardware/ Software testing and validation for an engine controller• Assisted with support of legacy software for engine controllers• Developed wiki based project tracker following GE’s existing project management framework
