Scarab Funds is a series LLC comprised of positive impact strategies for cash, fixed income, a fund of funds in green real estate, timber, and sustainable agriculture, public equities chosen based on the Natural Step decision tree, and an emerging fund of positive impact funds.

My personal mission is to change the way we think and act with our money, including the oversight of Scarab Funds, a family of impact strategies launched in 2012, but part of my history of impact investing that goes back to the late 1970's. 100% impact means that we are not just looking at the processes of ESG but that we start with products and services that will make an essential contribution to the world. These may be private debt, real assets, private or public equities etc,. There is no financial instrument that cannot be impact oriented. As Chairman I will make sure this standard is kept front and center.

This book traces my own journey out of financial innocence, towards an investment model that supports reasonable returns, long-term economic health, and a healthy future for our planet. There are many books on money and investing, but very few build a bridge from philosophical values to practical understanding and advice.
