This role consists of supporting multiple plants in the Florida, Georgia and South Alabama areas. It required working with managers and employees to influence the safety culture and reduce risks and ensure company and regulatory compliance. Proactively observed, influenced, lead and supported each operation by training personnel, conducting driver evaluations and facility site visits which include monitoring material handling and observing manufacturing processes to immediately mitigate risk in order to maintain safety and production.Engaged both management and line level employees to educate, support and develop KPI's that were obtainable, driving a systematic approach to reduce injuries, increased awareness and cultivated a cultural change where safety is desired versus required.
