I am an experienced educator, trainer and facilitator providing training and technical expertise to community members, community based organizations and community stakeholders in the areas of HIV prevention, community outreach and awareness and community mobilization. I have organized, hosted and facilitated information and knowledge sharing utilizing on-site and web-based methodologies. I was Project Director for an initiative and campaign aimed at building strategic partnerships to respond to community needs specific to HIV/AIDS and to increasing HIV testing among vulnerable populations. As a Project Director, Senior Program Officer, and a Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) Liaison for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-funded CBA project, I have substantial and demonstrated experience providing training, capacity building and technical assistance, and fostering and managing strategic relationships with health departments, community partners and stakeholders.I am also a graphic designer and have spent the last 11 years providing design services to individuals, entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations and companies through my company, EIKON Design, LLC.
