A data science professional with more than 20 years of experience. Currently, I work as a Lead Data Scientist in Experimentation team helping Vinted with its mission to make sustainable consumption first choice and focusing on scientific modelling and automation in experimentation models and statistics.Previously, I worked as a Lead Data Scientist at SameSystem, SaaS company within workforce management, where I lead a team of senior data scientists and data engineers, developing and deploying 💻☔ predictive models in retail sector. Before that, I worked as an economist in a strategic market research company, where I led a team of economists and econometricians, and managed the entire product life-cycle: from identifying client needs and use cases, developing analytical products, working with Web developers on implementing client solutions as interactive web applications.I received my PhD degree in Economics from the University of Washington and later held a researcher position at Uppsala University. My empirical research 🔬 was in Labor Economics and Econometrics with the focus on identifying causal effect of lifecycle events and labor market policies, starting with data collections and preparation from multiple sources, writing up analysis and finally presenting results in seminars and conferences. My current interests include machine learning, experimentation, deep learning, ML/AI explainability, time-series forecasting, and anomaly and outlier detection.I am passionate about learning new skills and improving myself as well as coaching and mentoring others. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, 🏃 running and tinkering with Raspberry pi in 🤖 home automation and robotics projects.
