I am a lifelong-learner with a love of solving challenging problems. I have a background in computer science, particularly machine learning as well as physics, mathematics and education. As a Machine Learning Engineer: In my degree I was known as a guy with particularly good understanding of difficult concepts and able to put that knowledge to effective use in code and neural networks. I have worked with both Tensorflow 2 and PyTorch on projects ranging from simulated lunar lander reinforcement learning, to style transfer, to Jetson Nano CNN projects, to MRI enhancement using U-nets. As an Educator: I have a love of enrichment and high level content as well as enthusiasm for my subject areas. I can often break a seemingly complicated idea into a series of simpler ones or leverage existing understanding of one idea to use as an analogy for another.
