Daikin Europe nv. Received worldwide IT security guidelines that they had to implement a control system to find out security issues in the network (Active Directory – RSA Server , SecureID - Checkpoint Firewall with VPN ). My assignment was to investigate this section. I had to make a list of control points that should be detected on the network. Then I did some research for available auditing tools on the market en analyzed/implemented and tested these tools in a test environment. The conclusion was that there are a lot of good auditing applications but nothing could give me more than 70 % of my control points. So I started to make my own auditing system with Visual Basic Scripts – MS SQL server (SQL queries) and as interface MS Access (form – report). After successfully implementing this system on the network you could get a detailed information about every intrusion of a control point.
