Engineer turned tactical business manager. Three-time startup founder.I learned early on that building team, recruiting, selling, and improving operations and process is where I can get the most leverage and leave an impact on the people I work with and the world at large. Worked at a large scale agency, Carbon Five (acquired by West Monroe), before founding AE Studio and scaling the team from 4 to 170+ top-tier engineers, PMs, designers and data scientists.Today I’m passionate about community building, BCI, understanding what the future looks like (without giving up our data to big companies), and increasing human agency, our focus at AE Studio.What does that mean? Most companies today manipulate people to do things they don’t want to do (dark design, variable reward mechanics, etc). If instead of doing that, you build products that are actually aligned with your users agency, and increase their agency, you’ll have happier users, a growing user base, and a more sustainable business model. That’s the recipe to our success.We’re industry and technology agnostic, bringing our philosophy and stellar team to companies (200+ and counting) in web, mobile, health, fintech, web3, consumer, publishing, e-commerce, neurotech, industrial, etc. Offices in Venice, CA and Florianopolis, Brazil.
