It is unique being a director of an organization that is youth-led and community-centered, especially since I feel that both (youth AND communities) have been directed way too much in the past. My personal intention in my 'directorness' is to invert this paradigm by being directed by communities and youth themselves because I feel that they possess an abundance of all we need to tackle today's global challenges.Currently, we have communities in four countries: Kenya (four chapters), Cameroon, Zambia and the Netherlands. Our communities are naturally growing by the energy and love we spread around the world.

Many of the discussions we currently have are nested in certain systems, and sometimes they even revolve around systems. Unfortunately, actually changing these systems is another matter. That is a very detrimental fact of life, especially considering climate change that threatens our existence on this planet. What makes it even more regrettable is that we already have all the talents, to do something about this and create a way of living that is desirable for all beings on our planet, yet we use these talents so little.Systems entrepreneurship is a form of entrepreneurship that respects all these different talents and our existence on this planet. Not only does being a systems entrepreneur make you extremely happy and lead to you waking up every day with a feeling that your life has a lot of meaning, but it also ensures that we can rapidly transform our current systems into systems that allow life for all species on Earth to flourish.One of the systems that is in need of a serious make-over is our education system, with about twenty-five people in every classroom ready to make a meaningful contribution to Life on our planet. But how do you set such a complicated system in motion? By making people aware of their power within the system and at the same time teaching them how to invite themselves into a new system in which we engage in a very fulfilling and authentic relationship with ourselves and the planet.At The Climate Academy, I am the driving force behind the Systems Entrepreneurship program, which turns schools into breeding grounds for the much-needed social change in the 21st century. This adventure is not to be missed!

'De Peelpioniers' is a social enterprise with a two-sided mission. - We educate young people (14-30) in 21st century skills. Our goal is to provide them with the skills necessary to shape their own career ('working life') in the following 100 years to come.- We offer their newly acquired 21st century skills to organizations. This helps organizations in quickly applying new technologies to stay ahead of the rest and our talents get the chance to further improve their skills.At the moment we offer our skills in producing video content (suitable for social media) and social media marketing to organizations.

Ik heb al heel mijn leven een obsessie voor de complexiteit van dingen. Dat was eigenlijk nooit een ding, totdat ik leerde dat je informatie op allerlei niveaus kunt presenteren. Als je informatie op het juiste niveau aanbiedt bij een publiek, dan krijg je ze op de banken en weet je barrières te doorbreken en nieuwe verbindingen te maken. Dat is leuk en daarom hebben we Simpelmakers opgericht.

Van Je Familie Moet Je Het Hebben is a local Dutch movie production, fully crowdfunded via CineCrowd and fully crowdsourced by the communities of Asten and Someren. Release: December 2016.In August 2015, after a meeting with YouTube director Daan Blommers, I decided to follow my dream and start making a movie with him. He created a story and together we wrote the script for 'Van Je Familie Moet Je Het Hebben'. In May 2016, we did an open call for people from Asten and Someren to play in the movie and in June 2016 we held our casting. In July 2016, we did a successful crowdfunding to secure the 14,000 euros budget. At the moment we're recording the movie.

IT brings a lot of hassle. Triggre wants to remove this hassle by offering a tool with which you can build software yourself. This enables employees, the people who own specialist knowledge, to build the software they need. The cool thing about Triggre is that it changes the way software works, in a positive way.At Triggre I was responsible for creating content for content marketing campaigns and I applied my knowledge on social media marketing to improve lead generation.

Bij de technologie startup DoelgroepTV heb ik diverse functies vervuld:- Communicatiemedewerker (nieuwsbrieven versturen, trainingen en workshops verzorgen en service en dienstverlening bieden aan de eindgebruikers)- Operationeel manager / hoofd ontwikkeling (verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering vande ontwikkeling en daaraan gelieerde werkzaamheden als het maken van planningen,etc.)- Project manager (verantwoordelijk voor diverse softwareontwikkelingsprojecten)Het product van DoelgroepTV, De MediaHub, is een media-innovatie die zeer breed wordt toegepast in onder meer de media-, zorg- en cultuursector. Ik heb ervaring opgedaan met projecten in al deze sectoren. Mijn kracht zit in de omgang en het meedenken met de klant om zo tot een betere implementatie van het product te komen.

Bij Erfgoed Brabant heb ik meegewerkt aan het innovatieve project 'Brabant Cloud'. Dit project heeft als doel om alle Brabantse erfgoedinformatie op een duurzame manier vast te leggen voor het nageslacht. De focus lag in eerste instantie op het vastleggen van kennis van kleinere cultuurinstellingen zoals heemkundekringen.

Als politiek verslaggever in de Gemeente Asten was ik verantwoordelijk voor de verslaglegging van politieke bijeenkomsten zoals commissie- en raadsvergaderingen.Mijn overige werkzaamheden voor het Eindhovens Dagblad waren zeer divers. Zo ben ik wel eens bij een christelijke jongerenbijeenkomst geweest om te praten over het bedreigde voortbestaan van hun vereniging, en een week later wandel ik met een dierenarts door de dierenparken in Helmond om te kijken hoe het met de dieren gaat.

Het wekelijks presenteren van een lokale actualiteitenrubriek met daarin onder andere live-interviews.

Tijdens mijn stage heb ik de digitale mogelijkheden voor het museum onderzocht in de breedste zin van het woord. Ik heb geadviseerd over onder meer social media gebruik en digitaal erfgoed.
