• Performed systems engineering for U.S. Navy unmanned surface vehicle (USV) project, to include requirements research, software architecture, concept of operations (CONOPS), autonomous system modules, cross domain solution (Radiant Mercury), network data exchange, and computer security. • Wrote software module interface description documents using the Unmanned Systems (UxS) Control Segment (UCS) Multi-Domain Extension (MDE) (UCS-MDE) and Data Distribution System (DDS) standards. Developed state machine and sequence diagrams in Systems Modeling Language (SysML), a variant of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) developed for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).• Performed User Experience (UX) analysis and design of the USV user interface. Identified improvement areas in workflow, visual presentation and mental models. • Designed and developed USV user interface functionality on a Cesium 3D map. All software development was performed in Angular, JavaScript, HTML and CSS using © RTI DDS, GIT, SourceTree, Visual Studio Code development environment, and IPython for DDS scripting. Web technologies included JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS, and Less, in addition to OpenLayers and ESRI ArcGIS.
