About Guadalupe Cañas Herrera

I am a dedicated researcher at the European Space Agency (ESA), specializing in cosmology. My research focuses on constraining cosmological models through observational data, software development, Bayesian statistical analysis, and advanced inference techniques, all while adhering to Open Science and FAIR principles.I contribute to the ESA Euclid mission and lead the development of the cosmological analysis pipeline CLOE. On top of that, I oversee the team studying alternative cosmological models for Euclid Data Release 1 as one of the corresponding Key-Project coordinators. As an official ESA spokesperson, I am passionate about science outreach and communication, having conducted over 25 media interviews and participating in numerous outreach events over the last years.
