Education, outreach and marketing to residents, businesses and schools throughout the municipalities in Erie County. Provide staff support to the two area Solid Waste Boards which represent all municipalities in Erie County, except the City of Buffalo. This is a grant-funded position from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation with the goal of creating innovative strategies to help municipalities reach recycling and waste reduction goals.I work in the community and with schools to promote waste reduction and recycling. Reduce, Reuse and then Recycle.

An independent contractor to the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) disseminating education about the importance of energy conservation and the MANY incentive programs NYSERDA offers.

Responsiblilties inlcuded grant managment, budget preparation, marketing, media and commuity outreach including presentations to groups and programs for school-aged children. As Recycling Coordinator inlcuded support for the two area Solid Waste boards which cover all municiaplities in Erie county, reporting to New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.

Responsible for interface with community groups related to the various Olmsted parkland throughout the City of Buffalo. Volunteer Coordinator duties included recruitment, training planning and organiztion of all tree plantings and clean-ups. Designed volunteer tree planting template that is in use today for many of the community tree plantings in Erie County.
