With the support of a wood finishing company in North Carolina, I created a stand-alone national division that offers custom prefinished and unfinished hardwood floors specifically focused on high-end flooring contractors and distributors. Heavily geared toward problem-solving, I manage the entire process as a small business owner using the supporting company's financing; from customer acquisition and marketing to specification writing, purchasing, production input, quality control, shipping, and collections. Product lead in high-profile projects for flooring contractors to end-users such as; Princeton University, The Kennedy Center, Google, and Pfizer. Continue to be an ongoing reference for columns and quotes in industry publications regarding the State Of The Industry.

Co-founder and lead in a web based platform that passes hundreds of real time product SKUs - pricing and inventory information - through to flooring dealers' websites for sale to their customers. It's a "plug-and-play" program for independent flooring stores to immediately be selling online and compete with national e-commerce, home centers and regional specialty stores as well as being a searchable data base when looking for specific products for their in-store customers. We started the launch January 2015 and my responsibilities range from General Management, Sales Engineer and Product Management, to Database Administration and Web Architecture.

Joined a 33-year-old Brazilian manufacturing and forestry firm’s US operation as the Sales Director to create a national brand and distribution for their product. Advise on all functions of the US operation.
