Field Operations Manager
CurrentResponsible for directing and managing all field activities for external or internal customers with high level customer contact. This includes financial and technical responsibility, with full accountability for all activities. Responsible for all activities relative to field projects including costing, staffing, set-up and implementation. Significant customer contact and service responsibility representing the company on major/complex accounts. This often includes being lead role on specific customer accounts and high-profile projects.Duties/Responsibilities:• Work with CEO in planning and implementing strategies and initiatives.• Manages staff to ensure achievement of goals and objectives.• Work with CEO to set goals and conduct performance reviews for all internal field staff.• Work with CEO in the hiring for direct employees and contract personnel.• Work with CEO to develop initiatives, measure, control, and monitor all applicable cost areas, installation pricing, quotes, bids processes, sourcing, staffing, quality, and on time completion.• Serve as member of estimating team.• Negotiate with subcontractors and establish subcontractor guidelines.• Oversees the development of plans to ensure consistent field coverage on accounts, installation quality, and a diversified subcontractor base.• Responsible for project start up tasks and strategies.• Update all status dates and notes to business system in a timely and accurate manner.• Ensure operating policies and procedures are consistent with sound business practices.• Travel as required to support projects, manage staff and vendors, project schedules, inspections, and training.• Provide individual Customer Service satisfaction on designated accounts.• Works with the business unit operations team to plan and secure information to achieve customer specifications.• Modifies and updates quarterly forecasts and ensures these sales goals are met.
