Duties included group leadership, project management, and work sharing with our design offices. I also served as one of our practice's Consultant Quality Control Officers; tasked with ensuring compliance of our deliverables with our practice's QC/QA policy.Served as the Bridge Service Group Coordinator. Working with my peers in other offices, the role was to promote and coordinate workshare across the practice's bridge design offices.Atlanta Bridge Group LeaderSeptember 2010 - November 2014Joined RS&H to start up a bridge group in the Atlanta office. Added associates, led or participated in several DB projects and project pursuits in addition to traditional delivery bridge projects and contractor services, including bridge jacking, shoring, and bridge temporary works.

Transportation Engineer Ii
First job out of college; I was hired in the Office of Systems Development. Spent time improving FORTRAN programming skills and assisting with inventory management. At this time, all Engineers participated in a 2 year training program where they visited several segments of the Department to get a better understanding of the range of GDOT activities. My second assignment was in District 7 Construction as a field inspector for the I-75/I-85 Reconstruction project in Downtown Atlanta. I reported to the GDOT Construction Project Engineer with responsibilities for bridge construction inspection at several sites associated with the Metro Atlanta Interstate Reconstruction Project. Duties included field inspection and construction observation of steel plate girder, prestressed beam, and post-tension box girder bridges. I prepared inspection reports and construction diaries, and tested concrete samples. My third assignment was the Office of Bridge Design. There I served as the design engineer for the widening of Delk Road over I-75. I learned and used the Department's Bridge Design Programs and prepared the set of bridge plans by hand, ink on mylar. I completed the Department's two-year Engineer Training Program having spent over one year of it in the Office of Bridge Design.
