These partnerships evolved, ultimately leading the group to form their own company, Glassboard. Since Glassboard was founded, we’ve helped many clients develop products, connect with patent attorneys and venture capitalists, test their products, and take their products to market.

PolyCeramX is a battery materials firm that is currently developing solid state battery separator materials. The PolyCeramX material is a hybrid Polymer and Ceramic material that is non-flammable, thermally stable, reduces dendrite grown, and enables the use of a lithium metal electrode providing for drastically increased energy density when compared to current state of the art lithium ion batteries.

Spir Bikes is an Indianapolis based high performance electric bike company. Spir's target market is the law enforcement community. My role at Spir is to apply my talents in mechanical design, battery technology, and electric drivetrain design. Our goal is to design, build and manufacture high performance mountain bikes for use in law enforcement departments across the country.

EVC Racing is a design firm in the electric vehicle racing industry. We design and build electric race vehicles, custom data acquisition systems & wireless telemetry sensors, and provide consulting services for the electric vehicle industry. As CEO I provide strategic direction for our product development, design, and testing. I am also responsible for business development and primary management within the company.

The purpose of Purdue Electric Vehicle Club is to encourage the development, knowledge-base, and enthusiasm towards electric vehicles by students and the community by hosting electric vehicle events, cruises, and aiding it’s members in converting their own vehicles to electric. Club highlights included sweeping the 2012 & 2013 Electric Vehicle Grand Prix series at Purdue with wins at both Purdue and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The club was also the first team to ever win the Gas Grand Prix, Purdue Electric Grand Prix, and the IMS Electric Grand Prix in the same year with wins at all three events in 2013. During my time with club, I was integral to the design and build of the EVC-1 electric drivetrain, custom battery pack, and vehicle integration.

Indy Power Systems is a high tech startup based in Indianapolis, IN that specializes in energy management systems for power grid, commercial, and industrial applications. Their flagship product the MultiFlex™ Energy System blends a variety of energy sources like recycled lead-acid, lithium, solar, and wind with applications varying from microgrids to peak shaving and demand charge reduction. At Indy Power Systems my role consisted of mechanical design, CAD simulation, hardware testing and validation and project management.

Delphi is an automotive supplier. As an intern I was a Systems Engineer assigned to the energy storage systems team. The project I was on for the summer was an energy storage system for hybrid automotive use. On this project I was responsible for software and hardware integration of the control system, lithium battery characterization, and validation of the energy storage system.

The Electric Vehicle EPICS Team focuses primarily on research and design for kart styled vehicles used in the Annual Electric Vehicle Grand Prix at Purdue University. I was appointed Race Director for the inaugural evGrandPrix at Purdue University. As part of this program I was responsible for general administration, rules creation and enforcement, and overseeing the progress of karts built at Purdue University.
