I am a graduate from Northeastern University with a Masters in Data Analytics, with a background of Computer Engineering in my undergrad. Prior to my Masters, I have a 3 years of work experience as a Business Operations Specialist.It is at this job that I realized how I love applying creative and out of the box solutions to optimize database performance and speed up software applications effectively. This experience helped me hone my skillset in SQL, database architecture, performance monitoring and facilitating data availability through large data pipelines to produce the desired results. The large amount of data that I dealt with everyday made me realize it's importance in today's rapidly digitizing world; Data is the new currency as it's rightly stated. I fell in love with Data Science and Analytics owing to its ability to extract relevant information through statistical and quantitative modeling to provide better business insights and decisions. My immediate goals include getting better at statistics, programming, data visualization, data science and machine learning through project based and experiential learning. I am a creative, eager to learn person never bowing down to challenges. I have a good eye for detail with a knack for multi-tasking. I want to leverage the skillset I harness at my Master's to help solve some of society's problems.
