• Duties:
• Producing efficient designs within the framework of simplicity, feasibility, cost efficiency, accuracy, standardisation, the availability of parts, time frames and aesthetics.
• Producing designs that meet the specific standards and criteria in accordance with customer requirements.
• Work with clients and suppliers to optimise designs, maximise efficiency and improve future relationships.
• Compiling assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with acknowledged manufacturing standards e.g. CE, DIN, SABS, BS.
• Compiling part specifications, BOM’s, BOM management, production orders and manuals.

Cape Town Area, South Africa

- Create parts, assemblies and assembly instructions using CAD package Unigraphics in conjunction with Teamcenter and Adnet administration database.- Provide packaging of various truck components in a variety of applications to meet customer requirements and project specifications.- Apply fundamental engineering principles to truck components and systems.

Design and development of physical lay-out of PC-boards.Designing of injection moulded covers and other parts.Designing and building of testing equipment.

Assembling of diverse electronic devices.Operation of and maintenance of a Pick & Place machine.Supervision and coordination of labour force during store roommanagement.

- Obtaining experience within client relationship development and marketing.- Assisting prospective buyers at regular Sunday show house events including marketing of property and establishing client needs.- Accepting responsibility for the safety and security of properties.

Customer liaison at diverse and multi-cultural level during marketing and promotions of various retail products on ad-hoc assignments.

- Gaining exposure and experience to the application of industrial engineering theories and principles.- Application of critical thinking during system analyses anddevelopment of improvements including creating of report.
