The love of computers and information technology along with the satisfaction of successfully solving network operational problems have been the key drivers of my education and career. While I've played the field, acquiring certifications in Novell and Cisco systems, my primary area of both experience and expertise is in finding, applying, optimizing, and managing Microsoft network system solutions.As a consultant for MindGent and more recently for JDA TSG, I've gained a breadth of experience collaborating with organizations ranging from global enterprises to local healthcare providers: installing, optimizing, migrating, maintaining, and managing server operating systems, networks, data access/security, file and print services, and client/server applications. I've led proof of concept teams including a 250 seat file and print services migration from Netware to Windows .While I'm enjoying the rewards and challenges in my current role as a consultant Customer Engineer / Dedicated Support Engineer for System Center Configuration Manager / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, I value the in-depth experience I gained being a Systems Engineer responsible for the ongoing high performance of a single organization's 100 server system over a number of years. Both provide stimulating opportunities for problem solving, learning, and accomplishment. I'm interested in connecting with like-minded people to explore ways we can benefit each other's career paths.
