Managed all US Army communications in Europe and Africa. Directed crisis actions planning to support contingency operations. Conducted cyber security assessments. Developed long term communications support plans in emerging and enduring locations in Eastern Europe (Poland, Romania, Baltics, and Balkans). Key Achievements:Successfully completed numerous IT infrastructure projects expanding US Army networks throughout 9 different countries in Eastern Europe. Simultaneously improved customer experiences with increased bandwidth and lower latency while improving the cybersecurity posture by adding both physical and logical controls. This resulted in a passing score for the first information security audit and inspection of these areas.Coordinated the expansion of the US Army Europa and Africa Mission Partner Network, a SECRET Releasable to NATO environment. Federated 17 different National connections into the network increasing the Army’s ability to employ a “fight tonight” network with NATO Allies including the UK, Poland, Romania as well as Finland and Sweden with 60 days of their entrance into NATO.Established an enterprise network operations and security center combing resources from 4 different organizations enabling a unified view of the Army networks. This improved the maintenance process and reduced the time to troubleshoot issues due to the colocation of different network and security functions.Coordinated the expansion of VPN access during COVID to surge to support new telework policy. Increased VPN capacity from 5,000 simultaneous connections to 25,000 exceeding customer requirements that increased from 200 daily connections in 2019 to over 15,000 throughout 2020. Rapidly integrated over 20,000 Soldiers relocating from the United States to 12 different countries throughout Europe by expanding a pilot program testing new Active Directory migration scripts. This reduced the time to regain network access from seven days to less than one.

Serverd as the senior communications advisor for an Armored Brigade Combat Team forward deployed to Kuwait and other Middle East countries. Responsible for the health, welfare, and morale of 20 Soldiers. Engineers, installs, operates, secures, and maintains all voice and data networks and all to support brigade operations. Responsible for all information assurance and cyber security operations for the 4,000+ man organization.

Served as a Executive Officer for a 25 man Security Force Assistance Team in Kandahar Afghanistan. coordinated logistics, maintenance and life support for a small compound. Advised and mentored 20 senior Afghan Army, Police, and Border Patrol officers on joint operations. Facilitated regular meetings with the Provincial Governor and US Department of State and Department of Defense officials. Coordinated all security operations in/around the Governor's Compound.

• Served as the Education and Training Director for the Chief of Staff of the Army’s Soldier for Life program that connects non-Federal entities and other Federal Agencies to existing Army programs in order to support Soldiers and their families. Connected Soldiers to training programs to reduce their skills gap between the skills acquired during military service and the skills required for their civilian career.• Managed the Army’s Career Skills Program which enables Soldiers to participate in job skills training, internships, and apprenticeship programs while still on Active Duty. Increased Career Skills Program cohorts by 325% through a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt project resulting in over 3,700 program graduates, with a 93% job placement rate, including the implementation of the first overseas program.• Developed the Army Credentialing Assistance Program for initial implementation by preparing and coordinating with numerous stakeholders including members of Congress, Army Staff and Secretary of Defense Staff. Organized the project team from various agencies and organizations to develop the scope for the limited user test and scaling to full Army implementation. Drafted Army Directive 2018-08 and received concurrence from all 4-star stake holders and presented to the Secretary of the Army for approval. After gaining his support and approval, I coordinated the initial limited user test within Texas. The Army now offers funding for over 1,600 different credentials to the over 1million Soldiers throughout the Active, Guard, and Reserve with over 20,000 credentials earned each year

Executive Officer of the Soldier for Life Program, Office of the Chief of Staff, Army, enabling Army, government, and community efforts to facilitate successful reintegration of our Soldiers, Veterans, and their Families into civil society. Managed the program budget of $11million. Approved travel for 25 employees traveling numerous times a month. Forecasted personnel transitions and hiring actions. Managed the Program Director’s calendar.Responsible for synchronizing and prioritizing staff efforts for the Director and Soldier for Life team. Develops and improves program systems to achieve functionality that supports the mission and personnel support functions for each of the 19 SFL team members. Responsible for ensuring administrative, logistical and training in support of the the program mission, team and Director's intent. Build and maintain relationships across the Army staff, within the Soldier for Life team and an understanding of the Soldier for Life mission and objectives.
