About Dr. Greetje Corporaal
A scholar of technology and work I research, teach, and speak about the social and organizational implications of using novel digital technologies in the workplace and in markets. Using qualitative ethnographic methods such as participant observation and interviewing I study the changing nature of work in the digital economy and specifically the impact of emerging technologies such as platforms, AI and cloud computing on the social organization of knowledge-intensive work.I'm an Assistant Professor in Organization and Digitization at Rotterdam School of Management.Previously, I received a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship for the iWork Project, studying work transformations brought about by digital platforms. I also received a Young Talent Award from the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds and the Wilhelmina Drucker Early Career Award from VU Amsterdam.
