I hold a doctor degree in Mechanical Engineering and post-docs in mechanical engineering and computational modeling. My professional experience covers academic and management subjects, and it is part of my job to set out alliances with industry and third-sector for having a RDI&TT wheel running seamlessly. During my journey, some fields of knowledge occupied a position in my portfolio, such as CFD, multiphase flows, applied mathematics, and numerical methods. Apart these, project management and data analysis are two other areas of my interest. Currently, I am one of the leading researchers at TRIL Lab, a research group focused on bridging holistic computational science and engineering (CSE) and data science applications especially for energy, health, and technology sectors. Our group is located in João Pessoa, a beautiful seashore city in Brazil's farthest east. We are part of the Center of Informatics - Federal University of Paraíba. Besides, I belong to the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering, where I teach, advise, and mentor graduate students in engineering-affine subjects, such as reservoir modeling, fluid mechanics, and scientific writing. In the Graduate Program in Informatics, I advise students in data-driven research. Our lab has a wide cooperation network that covers governmental fostering agencies, universities, companies, labs, and researchers both in Brazil and abroad. Regarding managing roles, I am currently the Head of the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering, the PI of the CO2SS Project, for geologic carbon storage studies, and past Director of Promotion and Academic-Scientific Actions, role bound to the International Cooperation Office.
