I've spent many years working and training within leadership programs starting with joining Arcadia University's Orientation committee my 2nd year of college. In this position, I worked in a leadership team serving as the first faces new students would see as they started their college careers. We had countless seminars on how to be an effective leader, both solo and in a group setting with peers. There was a large focus on facilitating open conversation with students and their families. Given my position, I had to grow when it came to having professional conversations while being a representative of my university. In my senior year of college, I served on the student executive board of orientation which was a full-time summer position. My job was to be the social media and special project manager where I had to represent the university on a much larger platform. I enjoyed the opportunity to flex my creative muscles and personality on these platforms and I hope to find a career that allows me to stay personal and creative.Since graduating, I have become part of the Athletics Coaching staff at Arcadia under the Esports program. I now find myself passing on what I learned during my time in college onto new students starting their own journey. Working with smart and passionate people keeps me motivated to push myself forward onto new challenges and peruse a new step in my career.
