Handled team of 3 engineers and Led 2 New Product Programs. Responsibilities include the following:- Develop work standards, Sequence of Events, Operator method sheets and establish best methods of manufacturing - Perform detailed manufacturing process design using MPP and lead virtual validation for product assembly -Lead manufacturing readiness activities and conduct successful build of products from VB to SOP - Design and develop assembly processes, handover to production (SOP) after successful virtual (VB) and physical builds (DB, LPB) - Document standard manufacturing process for the factories and establish global standardization Perform PFMEA and prepare control plans - Apply Lean manufacturing principles and reduce waste (5S, VSM, Poka-Yoke, Layout Design, Line Balancing) - Configure and maintain MBOM and lead Change Management (ECM) - Conduct DFMA to identify issues in early stage and avoid delays during physical build- Leverage SAP PP and MES module for process planningAccomplishments -- Converted a 14-station Cotton Harvester assembly line to 9-station line. Resulting in 30% floor space saving with same daily production rate.- Led the development of Dynamic Production Planning tool and deployed it at 2 manufacturing units in US with cost saving of USD 425K/year.- Attained cost reduction of ~$25/machine through DFMAs followed by part commonality analysis. Annualized saving of USD 45K.- Completed one Six-Sigma Project for productivity improvement with cost saving of INR 1.14 Lacs and cost avoidance of INR 10.26 Lacs.- Received Star of the Month Award for speed of execution and agility in ECM implementation.- Teachers Chalk Award for developing global talent in 2018
