I've worked and studied for years within High Performance Computing and Deep Learning with a focus on using Graphical Processing Units to accelerate computing.As an intern and graduate research assistant with the Special Technical Projects team under the Technology Development Division at NCAR I focused on using OpenACC to port distributed weather/climate models to GPUs and optimize the performance. My school work focused on Deep Learning using neural networks for classification tasks; however, I am particularly interested in Deep Reinforcement Learning and the application of Evolutionary Algorithms to DRL.Please ask me about the GPU Porting/Optimization course I helped develop and deliver while at NCAR or my Senior Design project where I tried to implement CoDeepNEAT to evolve neural networks!
