Student researcher under Dr. Dominic Sauvageau where I explored the field of bacteriophage delivery (T1, T4, T7 strains). Studied how these three bacteriophages can be integrated into polymeric materials, namely hydrogels.

Assisted in the development of Team UAlberta's Antifungal Porphyrin-based Intervention System (APIS) to treat Nosema ceranae infections in European honeybees (Apis mellifera).- Awarded "Best Food and Nutrition Project" amongst 14 other undergraduate and graduate level teams.- Nominated for "Best Integrated Human Practices" amongst nearly 200+ undergraduate teams.- APIS has laid the groundwork for a potential nosema treatment that could one day be used by Alberta's ~$60 million apiculture industry.
