I am an inventor and software developer with strong experience in mobile software and Java development. My main skill is finding the most efficient way to complete something and re-engineer processes, software, systems or thinking to meet that end. I lean heavily to the more technical side of development, having a good understanding of concepts like scale, performance, reliability and maintainability and endeavour to keep things as simple as possible to achieve the goal. I gained tremendous personal satisfaction from creating Ella Speller and the software behind Diversionary Therapies', Ditto platform while professionally, architecting the App Store and Portal at Sprint was a significant achievement. Brainstorming and prototyping with scientists at CSIRO was fun and dissecting RSA's encryption library was a great challenge. It was a great disappointment that Mobidata didn't survive long enough to take the outstanding technology we created there to the next level.I like to stay on top of new technologies and can rapidly incorporate emerging tools or platforms when they prove their value. An early adopter of AWS and cloud, I am now looking at how blockchain and machine-learning can be leveraged to deliver amazing applications and services.
