This role forms part of the Gruyere JV Project Management Team with personal responsibility for overall Project Contracts and Procurement Management activities starting at the Feasibility Study phase, throughout the entire Project Execution phase up to and including Project close-out. A key part of this role was the commercial management of the main EPC lump sum contract of circa $360m.

Accepted temporary assignment as Project Contracts Manager for the Cadia East Gold Mine Project in Orange NSW ($2Bn) for setting-up the Contract Management team in the Melbourne office. Responsibilities included staffing the Contracts team, development of the Project Contracting Plan, development of project Contract documentation, setting-up project Contract procedures and systems. Responsibilities were handed-over to my successor who was recruited and establised in the role by myself, allowing me to return to my functional duties and setting-up the next project.

During my eployment with Fluor South Africa from 1998 to 2006, I assumed various positions as Project Contracts Manager, Project Procurement Manager and Contracts Department Manager from 2004 to the end of 2006.
