The Capital Project Developer is responsible for the development of project scope, budget, and schedule of all assigned capital projects. The position requires strong project management and technical skills to coordinate different disciplines within Operations, Maintenance, consulting engineers, and vendors. Understand the project delivery process and help define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals, plant safety, reliability and improvement efforts. Develop capital investment proposals and manage all detailed design and construction of approved capital projects with the objective of meeting technical, cost, reliability, and safety goals. Apply technical knowledge, experience, and analysis to understand complex designs, interact with the technology group to identify the minimum effective design solution for various operating problems and for installation of new / modified equipment. They also collaborate to assure engagement and alignment from required project constituents and team members for all projects. Monitors project progress and conducts meetings to resolve problems and ensure timely completion.

The Continuous Improvement Manager works with supervisors and operating teams to understand and improve manufacturing and quality systems, while emphasizing use of manufacturing reliability tools to accomplish operating objectives. Ensures compliance with all company safety policies and procedures and continues to develop and improve safety systems to include ownership, communication, training, recognition, safety audits and behavioral based safety practices. As Maintenance Material Control Officer, I guided the production efforts of over 191 military personnel maintaining 12 F/A-18E aircraft valued at $662M operating at various Naval Air Stations and onboard aircraft carriers. Administered aviation maintenance programs to ensure qualitative adequacy of aircraft and required material within the command to support all flight operations. Reviewed directives concerning utilization of aircraft materials, formulating policies to ensure compliance. Provided technical information concerning aircraft material, maintenance and operations to squadron chain of command. Evaluated efficiency of aircraft material under operating conditions and recommended corrective action as necessary.
