Provide full-time support at Chrysler CTC Auburn Hills for the Facilities Design and Project Management Department. Support at Chrysler Technology Center includes managing projects through planning, design, estimating, detailing, materials management, scheduling, project and construction management. Major customers include Powertrain, Electrified Powertrain (ePT), Climatic Testing, Alternative Fuels, Product Design, and Research/Development. Projects include ePT Testing Labs, Dynamometer Test Cell improvements including HEV Cells, High Pressure Natural Gas Filling Station, CO and HC Monitoring and Optimizations, Walk-In Test ePT Chambers, Energy Management and Savings Optimization projects, Twin Automated Mill Install Project in PDO, Charging Stations throughout complex, and installs of CMMs and Prima Laser Cutting Apparatus.

Managing the on-site Design/Build renovation project at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Lompoc California for HQ Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) - Lackland Air Force Base San Antonio Texas. The project value is +$5 Million and the scope includes the complete renovation of a 40,000 square foot hangar and two surrounding outbuildings for a new mission. Responsibilities include the day-to-day management of onsite personnel, design services, labor, materials, equipment, planning, engineering, demolition and construction, and commissioning services. The project interaction requires direct contact and partnering with the Federal Government including the Department of State, Department of Defense, Science Application International, AFCEE, Vandenberg AFB/NASA, along with OSHA, California Regulatory Agencies, and local regulatory agencies. Responsibilities include contract management, negotiation, financial management, RFI(s), RFC(s), and change orders. Project construction duration is 12 months.

I provided a leadership role to a group of project managers, estimators, interns, and professional technicians who in-turn provided new construction and renovation services for projects to customers throughout the University Campus. My level of service included management of staff, contract development and execution, planning, design, estimating, and contruction and renovation project work. My customers included all levels of University staff consisting of a diverse community of more than 6500 professionals. Wayne State University is an urban facility of nearly 10 million square feet and 120 buildings. My team's objective was to provide an excellence in service that was prompt, accurate, financially responsible, effectively communicated, and appreciated. As a team we set goals and objectives to include highly developed standards of work which were delivered with pride and integrity.

I managed a group of project managers, estimators, professional technicians, and interns so as to provide support to the University community for renovation and construction that is funded through a transfer of monies from the customer's budget. We provided support through the TMA Management System which allows customers to submit requests for services, receive estimates, provide funding, and monitor progress of their requests online. Our project work consisted of all capital projects between $25,000 and $150,000 and all work orders considered non-maintenance under the value of $25,000. We provided these services utilizing outsourced contractors and vendors via contracts each bid as either time and material work or based on individualized project scopes developed in-house or through a professional services contractor.

Managed a team of trades' persons providing in-house construction and renovation projects and maintenance as requested and funded by customers on and off campus. Provided project management for projects utilizing in-house trades people, contractors, and/or a combination of both. Annually exceeded 500 projects with a cumulative average value of $4,300,000. Provided all services through value engineering utilizing a reciprocal recharge rate to offset salaries of staff and all overhead costs operating on a zero budget.
