Kaigos helps system integrators by providing advanced robotic solutions for easily reconfigurable automations

Six months developing end-to-end sensor fusion for localization. In this project, my goal was to reproduce and push further the state of the art in deep-learning-based sensor fusion from visual data and inertial data into a robust position estimation.

Developed an autonomous mobile robot for CERN LHC maintenance. In this project, I set up the robot's software using ROS in a Docker Container, implemented the sensors' drivers, such as RGBD camera and 2D lidar, and implemented sensor fusion using Kalman FIltering for the robot's localization.

After high school, my interests were sparse and uncertain: this working experience in the production of professional coffee machines convinced me about pursuing engineering studies.
