My assigned project is to research and assist in implementing a fluorescent groundwater tracer study in the 200-BP-5 and 200-UP-1 areas of the Hanford Nuclear Reservation. The result of the tracer study will be used to assess groundwater remedial performance, and, as appropriate, to refine the fate and transport simulations used for groundwater assessment and remedy time-to-completion estimates. I utilized ArcGIS and ArcCatalog to create maps of various areas on the Hanford Nuclear Reservation and updated GIS file metadata to federal standards.
