For four decades, I have worked diligently to empower the connections between people and processes in verticals driven by the federal government worldwide, working as a senior executive and consummate supply chain professional in both permissive and non-permissive environments that others won’t touch. As the President of Supply Chain Visions, Inc. – a supply chain life cycle logistics advisor – I have been instrumental in solving various complex business challenges, supporting projects in nearly 50 countries across six continents. Through decades of industry-leading and internationally recognized expertise, I deliver effective results to military and government entities worldwide to deliver more agile, adaptable, and responsive capabilities. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in the following sectors: the Department of Defense (all branches, including DLA), the Small Business Administration, the U.S. Postal Service, the Department of Commerce, the Department of State, US Trade and Development Agency, and Veterans Affairs, amongst others. During this time, I have spearheaded operations such as putting 10,000 people to work without government investment in one of Iraq’s most dangerous zones, firing up a derelict set of assembly lines across several facilities to re-energize the local industry, supporting critical medical response efforts across the world, amongst other life-cycle logistics, engineering, and distribution services.A multi-disciplined executive, I additionally share my business and supply chain expertise at the University of Tennessee: Haslam College of Business, where I am an adjunct faculty and researcher, as well as Tufts University Gordon Institute, where I have been a lecturer for Masters in Engineering candidates. I am also a frequent contributor and editor to numerous publications, namely DC Velocity Magazine, The Supply Chain Quarterly (Editor-at-Large), and the Harvard Business Review.
