Led new products through the entire development cycle including circuit design, firmware, prototyping, manufacturing, and customer documentation.Also designed mechanical parts for several robotic products. Managed and operated the in-house CNC machine shop for several months. Worked closely with manufacturing and supply chain partners to create cost-effective designs that are easy to manufacture.As FAE (Field Applications Engineer) provided engineering design support to OEM customers utilizing Parallax products; particularly code and circuit design support for the Propeller microcontroller.

Worked on magnetic field design and simulation for electron-beam focussing in high-powered klystron RF amplifiers. Some RF cavity design and simulation. Programming and scripting using simulation software to optimize designs. Design and modelling of 3D parts & assemblies for manufacturing. Lab testing and RF characterization.
