Manage and lead the National Logistics Planning teams to deliver the tactical supply chain plan (3 month horizon) for road, rail, export and domestic capacity by integrating into the daily and weekly transport plans, using the ORACLE transport management System (OTM) for real time track and trace information and customer service visibility. Capacity constraints are identified and alternative solutions are designed collaboratively with suppliers and other key stakeholders in the supply chain.Successfully completed the technical upgrade of ORACLE OTM system on time and on budget using in-house resources to manage project.Developed a reinvigorated Systems Improvement Team to focus on standardising business information reporting across a number of contracts to ensure consistency of compliance and improvement. Track and Trace compliance increased from 70% to 95% in 6 months.Delivered savings of over $500k through Continuous Improvement projects and labour reductions.Improved relationship with Customer Service Teams through improved cross functional relationships communications and information visibility.

Manage and lead the Warehousing and Distribution infrastructure of 72 employees, spares inventory management and delivery performance, operational contract management of internal rail supplier, contract management of the site rail maintenance and capital program.Responsible for delivering on the safety, commercial and people outcomes for the business:- Achieved best ever safety performance of zero LTIs and zero LTIs for a given period by implementing a key safety improvement intervention- Led a major restructure of the department to resize to a new business model, achieving significant savings and a leaner operating model- Delivered a significant reduction in track infrastructure related derailments by working closely with contractor and managing the risk profile- Developed a Finished Goods Warehouse strategy that reduced fixed cost structure by outsourcing overflow warehousing to third party provider.
