I am Gediminas Banaitis-Skrandis, a cultural producer working in creative industries, contemporary art and music. I have produced many projects in the fields of art and creative industries, including the first multimedia art festival in Lithuania ["Centras"], the dark art cycle "Welnuwos", the landscape design festival "Magenta" and other original events.I am the author or co-author of internationally successful applications [[European Heritage Label, UNESCO City of Design, European Capital of Culture, Kaunas modernist community movement - Good Practices, Agenda 21 for culture, UCLG].From 2018 to 2023 I worked as a curator of the project "Kaunas - European Capital of Culture 2022", in the programmes "Design for Happiness" and "Kaunas District Programme". The most successful projects are the cultural ship "Nemuno7" and concert "Nemuno Spetyni", "Karmėlava Contemporary Eldership", the route of Kaunas district art objects "Smaragdo kelias", sound and light performances in the interwar water reservoir "Septyni vandenys".I have been working as a freelance designer for many years, specialising in music album covers and posters.Currently I am actively working as a project manager at Kaunas College, Ąžuolyno Library and the project "Culture Ship Nemuno7".
