Swedbank IT in Lithuania last years was growing more than 2 times. In 2017 we planning to reach 300 employees. The biggest growth is for maintaining and developing IT systems and products in Sweden and whole Swedbank Group.

Group IT Products applications maintenance and development:- Asset management- Savings- Life and non-life Insurance- Business Process Management (~70 employees)IT Site Manager Lithuania (~200 employees)

- IT workplace equipment procurement & logistics for Swedbank Group (~20 000 users)- Tenders, negotiations & agreements (workplace hardware and maintenance services for Swedbank Group, all local Lithuanian IT agreements)- ATMs/BNAs/Recyclers maintenance in Baltics- Security Center in Sweden

Department is responsible for 3 major parts:1. IT Workplace services:Support of ~3500 working places, ~400 ATM/BNAs, >4000 Tele banking customers, ~300 notebook users, ~3500 phones.2. Helpdesk - IT help for internal customers. Support of ~3500 customers in Swedbank group Lithuania. Also user rights support.3. Purchasing/procurement, tenders, agreements.

This unit is responsible for PC/LAN, ATM, Telephone banking installations/problem solving and Telephony support. 28 employees: 13 persons in regions (Kaunas, Klaipeda, Siauliai, Panevezys, Alytus), and 15 in HQ.

This unit contains 4 parts - Monitoring of IT systems (7 employees; expanding monitoring area, reacting on failures, making various reports: SLA, capacity, availability, etc.), Helpdesk (7 employees; serving 2500 employees), User right management (2 employees; adding/removing rights for various systems & applications), Telehansa phone support (2.

I started at this position after merging Hansabanas and LTB Lithuania Savings Bank). I had to create the Monitoring group from zero, create monitoring system from zero, and maintain and develop it according IT department expectations (add more and more items to alert in order to enable proper incident and event management). It was very challenging and.

List of acitvities was really wide, as branch office in Kaunas was very small - only 13 persons. So my list of responsibilities:- taking care of PCs in branch office- user support on how to use computer/applications- selling of bank products for corporate clients - as Telehansa, payment cards for employees.- installing Telehansa application at client side.

I was working there just a half of the year, but managed to accomplish many things, since the company had just become private and had to do many improvements:- many PCs were bought & changed- 5 cat LAN was installed there (was still coaxial there!)- Internet installation (there was no permanent internet at company, only modems),- Company web page.
