• Participating in the construction of 34-story high-rise twin building complex, including shopping arcades, community facilities and 1630 studio flats, located in Cheongna International City of Incheon. • Assigned as the Site Design Manager, closely coordinating with construction engineers and subcontractors successfully resolving technical design issues and evaluating alternative construction methods, in accordance with cost/time/quality evaluations and risk assessments. • Performing detail design reviews, to assure and manage quality outcomes considering different construction materials and methods in compliance with national building codes and standards.

• Participated in $3.4 billion (USD) of KNPC (Kuwait National Petroleum Company) refinery project for upgrading and expanding the existing two refineries at Mina Abdulla and Mina Al-Ahmadi located in south of Kuwait, working with the Joint venture team of Fluor Amsterdam, Daewoo Engineering & Construction and Hyundai Heavy Industry (FDH JV). • Stationing in Kuwaiti Design Consultancy’s office representing the JV, successfully performed as the Architectural Engineer and Project Coordinator for a 5 story office building with a basement floor of an overall floor area of approx. 25,000m2, including auditorium/atriums/archive and multi-office facilities. • Full participation throughout all stages; conducting local market research, preparing contract documents, evaluating tender’s proposal and to actual execution. • Thoroughly reviewed and implemented LEED Certified design, acoustic studies, CFD, interior design, blast-resistant design, smoke management and verified the compliance with International Building Codes, Shell DEP and project requirements. • Visited site on a weekly basis meeting with the construction team, conducting coordination for implementing site conditions and construction requirements. • Responsible for obtaining owner approval on furniture consultancy works, total value of approx. $4 million (USD), coordinating with client, suppliers and counterparts of JV for selection on furniture, considering project budget and specifications.

• Contributed to conduct basic engineering and preparing FEED Package for the CO2 Capture and Utilization (CCU) project, capturing CO2 capacity of 400 ton/day.• Establishing the design criteria coordinating with different disciplines.• Preparing all documents and drawings for the basic engineering package, including floor plans, elevations, structural analysis, standard drawings, finish schedules, etc.• Project includes 3 buildings of Control Room Building, Chemical Warehouse, Dehydration Building; total floor area of approx, 5700m2.

• Participated in preparing advanced FEED package of Kutai Coal Terminal Project (KCTP) in Indonesia, total EPC cost of $3.4 million (USD). • Coordinated with client and local JV partners on establishing design criteria, adapting local practices and standards. • Prepared engineering deliverables and bill of materials/quantities for 26 buildings/shelters; total floor area of approx. 23,000m2.

• Responsible Engineer of Diesel & Petrol Filling Station to coordinate with the Kuwaiti Subcontractor for project scheduling, procurement and engineering works. • Project coordination of technical clarifications/issues of different discipline (architectural, structural, civil, process, mechanical, electrical, etc) with counterparts via face-to-face meetings and videoconferences. • Held weekly meetings with Subcontractor, tracking weekly conducted works and managing upcoming activities.• Prepared weekly reports and minutes of meeting notes for management review, recording and managing progress by items.

• Participated in several bidding projects of power plants and refineries; Malaysia Masinloc IPP / Namibia Kudu Power PJ / UAE Al Dabbi’ya Refinery PJ / Nigeria Okija IPP (successful bidder) / Kuwait NRP Pkg#2&3 (successful bidder) • Coordinated with global consortium partners on producing engineering deliverables and bill of materials/quantities. • Carried out summaries on project requirements, calculated and reviewed BOQs, producing and analyzing comparative tables/analysis charts with other reliable on-job projects for adequacy verification.

• Participated in $1.25 billion (USD) of Oman’s largest independent power producer (IPP) project; productive capacity of 2,000MW. • Successfully managed to design 24 buildings & shelters, including Gas Turbine Building, Steam Turbine Building, Water Treatment Building and more. • Close coordination with different disciplines and construction team to manage the fast-track project in time, conducting business trips to local contractor’s office to resolve field engineering issues.

• Participated in the construction of Malaysia KLCC Tower project; high-rise building of 58 floors (267m) located in the center of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.• Successfully performed site management and supervision for the specialized area of building façade, coordinating with façade subcontractor for glass curtainwall installations and roof-top steel structure installations.• Carried out close coordination on working sequence with different teams, managing the usage of available resources and materials on site and ensuring everyprocess was prepared to be conducted on schedule.

• Participated in the housing redevelopment project of Haengdang-dong, Seoul; total site area of approx. 28,000m2, constructing 457 flats in 9 blocks. • Responsible for a block on finishing works, coordinating with several subcontractors for checking work progress on daily basis, ensuring each work was in regular sequence and quality work was performed. • Conducted daily safety inductions for newcomers and inspected safety regulations on site.

• Selected to be involved in the housing design competition for the new town government project of Hanam city, from the beginning of the project to end. • Assisted in designing flat layouts and types considering the floor area ratio restrictions and regulations. • Analyzed site conditions and utilized the results on designing site plans, landscape features and exterior open spaces. • Delivered high standards of 2D drawings and 3D modeling with AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, and Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
