I provide advanced level support for internal customers and vendors to ensure the success of critical UPS Airline, Worldport, Transport and Sort, and Brokerage systems. I function as a technical resource for management and application teams covering risk assessment, change facilitation, system/database administration, and enterprise incident/event.

I was part of the Automation Systems Group where I joined 5 other Level III technicians in supporting the entire automated sorting system for UPS' Worldport Facility - an international shipping hub located in Louisville.I was responsible for ensuring that the technology (server, workstation, networking, etc.) used in sorting an average of over 600,000.

I provided technical support to the hundreds of workstations and scanning equipment used for the automated sort at the UPS Worldport Facility - an international shipping hub located in Louisville. The size of about 80 football fields, Worldport is the largest fully automated package handling operation in the world. UPS Worldport handles 250 flight arrivals.

I provided technical support to the over 1,400 users at 2 facilities located in the east Louisville area. This included scheduled installation of approved software, troubleshooting installed software, repairing/rebuilding workstations, and providing training on specific computer skills.
