Sagar Pokhrel is a multifaceted developer, educator, and entrepreneur domiciled in Kathmandu, Nepal. He presently serves as a part-time lecturer at Universal College, Public Youth Campus, and Prime College. With his enthusiasm for web/software development and EdTech along with more than 10 years of experience working as a part-time freelance developer, Hem founded his own IT company during the COVID-19 lockdown, "illionSo Technologies," which has its head office in Nayabazar, Kathmandu. He is the company's founder and Solutions Architect. The company also offers e-business consulting in addition to web and software development services.Aside from his role as a lecturer and IT Professional, Hem is also an EdTech trainer, IT Advisor, and novice data researcher, who believes in "Sharing is Caring." He has trained over a thousand teachers and IT Administrators from schools/colleges around Nepal to integrate hybrid classroom experiences and 21 Century Learning Design(21CLD) during COVID19-Lockdown. He has been awarded "Microsoft Expert Educator" by Microsoft three times in a row in 2020, 2021, and 2022. He is also an IT Advisor cum Executive Committee Member of Community Leadership Nepal Foundation, which is a Nepal and Australia-based not-for-profit organization inspiring community leadership and commitments.From his more than 10+ years of experience as a Technology Advisor, Developer, cum Part Time Academician, he believes that a country with digitally literate citizens holds the potential to lead the global economy and make world better place to live.
