Role overview: Based in the group’s head office, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer,the role includes overall responsibility for the global brand, communications, product marketing and public relations for the group. This also encompasses the responsibility of initiating lead generation and awareness campaigns and rollout to Global territories.Notable projects:Brand development for SmartStrem's first Cloud-native Artificial Intelligence Reconciliations (SmartStream Air) solutions. Its launch in September 2019 included a fully integrated go-to-marketing campaign including content, website, PR and channel marketing.Overseeing the complete brand creation and integrated marketing campaign for the launch of ‘The SmartStream Reference Data Utility (RDU)’. The RDU is a start-up company in collaboration with Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley – it has received industry acclaim with coverage in the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times and is regarded as the most positive step in financial services for 30 years.Responsibilities and highlights:• Developing the annual global marketing plan and budget• Creating effective, creative, go-to-market plans for each new product launch• Evaluating and reporting on the performance of products to influence future initiatives• Managing a small team of Global managers• Re-launched the new website, with integrated responsive design for mobile devices• Creation of the integrated PR plan - driving the press release pipeline and liaising with journalists and PR agencies• Working closely with colleagues to ensure integrated marketing programs and consistency• Planning and delivery of customer events• Sighting and evaluating industry events and sponsorships• Preparation of the global monthly marketing reports, metrics and analysis for the Board
