Bart Geeraerts holds a Master degree in Engineering (KUL Leuven 1997) and Postgraduate degrees in Management from Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School (2005). Bart Geeraerts started within the Belgacom Group in 2001 after a career as Researcher and IT Operations manager at the Catholic University of Leuven. Within Belgacom, he held several consulting, business development and business unit management functions until he was appointed Director Business Innovation (for Corporate, SME & International Enterprise Business Customers) in 2008. In 2009, he joined Crescent NV, a Belgian investment company by a group of well-known Belgian industry captains. The Company aims to invest in ICT service providing and integration activities in the Benelux region. Integration companies SAIT Belgium, France and Netherlands as well as ICT Managed Service Providers ict4me, 2invision and Siliconhenge ICT are part of the Crescent family. In 2018 Crescent acquired Option nv. Bart is also co-founder of CISO-forum and has been active as Member of the Board of L-SEC and ADM.As of 2019, Bart is fully dedicated to growire.investments, an eco-system of multiple companies that all started from the belief that entrepreneurs should focus on customers, solution design, projects and contracts.
