Development of a cloud based (AWS) platform for the Flemish Ministry of Education, supporting 2 distinct applications:- Columbus: online test platform for pupils in their last year of secondary education, helping them in making their choice for higher education.- Instaptoets Lerarenopleiding: platform hosting the the non-binding, but mandatory test for students who want to become a teacher in Flanders.

As the Migration Test Manager I played a key role in assuring the quality of 2 large IT transformation programs within Proximus:- Migration of legacy Mobile voice customers to a single selling, ordering and billing chain.- Migration of legacy Wholesale (OLO) customers to a single selling, ordering and billing chain.

Consultant for an application modernization assessment. The project aimed at automatically refactoring a legacy mainframe application from CoolGen towards Java code. A “discovery phase” was executed to assess the feasibility and to plan the transformation from the as-is to the to-be situation. My focus was primarily on the definition of the transformation and testing approach.

In a complex multi-vendor environment I am responsible for defining and implementing the testing strategy for a key IT program in the ordering domain at Proximus. Testing scope is end-to-end (BSS/OSS), from selling over ordering to service activation, communication and billing. For this I manage a dedicated testing team (30+ people at the peak, onsite as well as off-shore in Bangalore), covering both functional testing as non-functional (performance/security). I also played a key role in the migration of 1.5 million customers from the old systems to the newly built ordering chain which happened during multiple migration weekends.
