I started 25 years ago in the IT sector as a software analist-programmer in an engineering company (Corsys-BSP-DMR), building solutions for time management. In 1996 I stepped into project management (Alacarte Engineering).Customers appreciated the way I managed engineering projects: well defined, scheduled on time and realized within the agreed budget. I became a reliable partner for all their IT trajects.In 2001 taken over by stock market listed company Keyware, I became responsable for a team of project managers in different sectors : POS systems for loyalty, payment, Electronic ID card, Social security card , ticketing systems.In 2003 I started as director for the new company Blue-chip Engineering. Creating loyalty programs in the retail for POS systems and centralized servers, the company serviced about 3000 terminals in Belgium and 1500 terminals abroad in the Netherlands, Suriname, France, Austria and GreeceIn 2009 Blue-Chip has been taken over by the Lycos/Arrow Up group of Greece/Belgium, where the focus on the loyalty activities became less important.The end of 2009, I started as project director of Pogio/Extentio. The company managed loyalty programs, with chipcards and terminals for small retailors, and added cashless payment facilities for the vending industry. Aiming larger scale projects, not possible in a short delay, I decided to become project director of Loyaltek. Loyaltek is a new player in the terminal payment sector. Since the beginning of june the company received a full c-tap license agreement for a bank multi-application terminal and as now able to accept all credit and debit cards in 27 european countries and Israel. Loyaltek is starting up the commercial activities in Belgium this year, and expanding their activities worldwide in the coming years.As a new Belgian acquirer for Kadoz cards and RES cards on all banking terminals, new projects and opportunities arre being added.Specialties: General manager skills : work on a clear business plan and mission statement, as a business analist looking for the best solution.Account and project manager skills : understand clearly business needs, delivering projects on time within budget, approved by the project owner.Team manager skills : as a teamplayer coaching a competent development team and help them to achieve their project milestones in a professional way, where quality and ease-of-use of the delivered objects are assured.
