It's been a wonderful and enriching journey since 2004. As a member of the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS), I now hold the role of Director across multiple divisions - SpLD Assessment Services (SAS), English Language and Literacy (ELL), and Staff Professional Development (SPD).My passion lies in enhancing services and advocating for individuals with unique learning styles, with a keen interest in twice-exceptionality where giftedness and learning challenges co-exist. I've spearheaded tailored support initiatives, crafting programs geared towards young learners and adults in the workforce.As a parent and educator, I'm deeply committed to evidence-based practices, fueling my drive to make a difference. As the Executive Editor of the Asia Pacific Journal of Developmental Differences and Head of the DAS Research Committee, I contribute to the global effort to support diverse learners. It's been a privilege to work with some of the best in the field, share insights at local and international conferences and contribute to publications. I'm happy to accept speaker engagements, consult on evidence and research-based practices, and professional development pathways for educators and organisations or simply chat about what we can do together for individuals who learn differently.
