Responsible for the simulation and development of an image processing system in real-time embedded in a drone.

Drove the simulation, manufacturing process and post-processing of composite structures. • Conducted Dynamic and Load Simulations regarding composite structures/wings;• Laminated and tested (impact and compression) composite structures.

Conducted several activities with focus on the simulation and investigation of the structural dynamics and aeroelastic behaviour of composite structures/wings: (full-time)• Developed many different computational mechanics simulations, such as for: fracture, dynamic, static, aeroelastic, loads, and vibration problems, etc.;• Created and tested automatic systems for flutter control and gust load alleviation;• Developed nonlinear FEM tools to investigate flexible structures and wings, obtaining a remarkable similarity (~8% error) with the experimental data.• Applied SMA and piezoelectric materials for vibrations and shape control, resulting in a reduction of 90% of the vibrations amplitudes.

Developed a computer vision algorithm to compute the traffic data of a parking lot. • Created an App to monitor the traffic data processed by a real-time computer vision algorithm connected to a camera placed at a parking lot.
