Ed has been leading TBDC's management team for the past 15 years. During that period, TBDC has won recognition both nationally and internationally for its excellence in business incubation and entrepreneurial training programs and services. TBDC now has 2 locations in Toronto and manages a 3rd location, the Toronto Food Business Incubator (TFBI). In addition to his duties at the Toronto Business Development Centre, Ed is Chair of the Canadian Association of Business Incubation (CABI), supporting incubation and innovation throughout the country. As well as being a member of the board of CABI, TBDC, and TFBI, Ed is a member of the board of SAMS Canada (South American Mission Society) and his local church. A graduate of both Ryerson and Wilfrid Laurier Universities, Ed has also taught various entrepreneurial courses at Centennial College’s School of Business in Toronto. Ed has delivered numerous seminars locally, nationally and internationally on Business Incubation, Economic Development and Entrepreneurial Practices. He also served on the Ontario Government’s Committee to Explore Self-Employment Opportunities for People with Disabilities.
