Ensure the adoption of new trade compliance practices. • Support business growth in identifying current and potential risks. Provide solutions and education to mitigate those risks.• Develop and implement strategies for CALA region trade compliance team to establish, maintain and continuously improve compliance programs in support of company’s international trade activities, while administering and conducting trade programs that bring duty and other cost savings to the company.• Drive international trade compliance activities in support of overall logistics performance, while leading the company wide performance improvement initiatives ranging from process redesign to system implementations and global brokerage service providers and freight negotiations. • Define accordingly company policies, procedures and business strategies with Trade Compliance global director and regional leaders.
